Two Outstanding Pillars

Dear Brenda,
You asked me to write a thought or two about two of our long time residents who are moving to a home away from Lions Bay. In my wacky way, I am impelled to write that a time will come for most of us when we will consider turning the page, to embrace something new that may be written thereon.

So it is for Anne and Chris, two outstanding pillars of Lions Bay, as friendly neighbours, as Councillors, as a happy helpful handyman, as an always courteous office employee, as a collegial pair who often shared a laugh at my own wackiness. I sincerely offer them my very good wishes, as they move from their mountain eyrie to cross the "ocean" to set up their new home on verdant Denman Island.
