“As you sit on the hillside, or lie prone under the trees of the forest, or sprawl wet-legged by a mountain stream, the great door, that does not look like a door opens”
Stephen Graham – The Gentle Art of Tramping

On Monday morning July 26th let’s meet at the gate at the top of Sunset at 8:30am and head up to Tunnel Bluffs. Hopefully no one will “sprawl wet legged by a mountain stream “as we cross Magnesia Creek on the way there.

If the sun is shining as forecasted the following quote might be appropriate for our resting place at the bluffs:

“To me a lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcome that the most luxurious Persian rug”
Helen Keller.

The whole hike should take about three and a half hours so bring a snack and something to drink.
