Please note: The night closure planned for Thursday, August 14 will be in Squamish for the construction of a pedestrian overpass to the south of Garibaldi Way.
Under normal conditions on the highway, construction-related traffic delays are coordinated so that, in non-closure, "off-peak" periods, total construction delays should not exceed:
30 minutes for trips between West Vancouver and Squamish
30 minutes for trips between Squamish and Whistler
45 minutes for trips between West Vancouver and Whistler

For everyone's safety this summer, there will be increased police enforcement on the highway targeting speeding and aggressive driving. Fines are double in construction zones. Please allow extra travel time during the busiest season of the year on the Sea-to-Sky.
