COUGAR SIGHTING

Please Be Aware! There has been a cougar sighting in the upper Timbertop Drive area on Thursday, August 7.  If anyone sees a cougar:  Don't panic, Make yourself look as large as possible, Back away slowly, Get out of the area, Call the Conservation Office RAPP line at  1-877-952-7277 and the Village Office at 604-921-9333. The conservation guys will tell you they are here all the time, you just never see them untill they are feeding their growing kittens. This time of year all kinds of animals including Coyotes,are getting their offspring plumped up for winter. They are looking for cats and rats.
