Suspicious Characters

At this time of year Blockwatch is a huge asset to every resident who lives here or not.

Blockwatch already had it’s first suspicious character alert (Isleview) during this holiday season.

With people vacationing and Holiday gifts filling homes this is the time that the potential for theft increases.

Know who your Blockwatch captain is. Let them or at least one neighbour know if you’re going away.

If you notice a strange car or odd behaviour from someone you don’t recognize please call the RCMP.

Blockwatch is also a vital communication tool for Emergency Services in the village.

Lions Bay has 41 block areas with about 20 homes per area. If you don’t know which Blockwatch area you live in there is a Blockwatch map in the post box room.
