Update
 
In the tax notices mailed to  residents was a notice that Public Works would soon stop picking up green  waste.  Resulting from a decision by Council on June 22nd the  Village is going back to Smithrite for this service.  The company’s  pickup of green waste will recommence on Friday, July 3 and occur every second  week on Friday, until November 20th.   Please note the same rules  continue to apply regarding a limit of six bags, maximum 30 pounds per bag or  can, stuffing cans loosely, and bundling and tying twigs and  branches.
