It seems as though the weatherman has been promising an appearance of the sun for weeks now and once again he’s saying “the sun’ll  come out tomorrow” and the day after as well. If this is true it looks quite promising for the Monday hike, so let’s meet by the gate at the top of Sunset at 9:00am Monday June 14th.and head up towards the elusive Magnesia Meadows  (we have never quite made it there yet).
 
Several people have reported that they haven’t received the Saturday Hike notice (which is supposed to be on the first Saturday of every month). I gave an abbreviated list to Hugo who will be sending out these notices and if you have been left off and would like to receive them send me an email. (there are now 80 people on the Monday list and I didn’t want to overload everyone with more Spam!).
 
Just to make things more confusing the Saturday Hike will be leaving the Park and Ride area this Sunday June 13th. at 8:30am  and car pooling up to Alice Lake, for a three hour stroll and everyone is welcome to join us.
