Embracing Change
I am sure most of you have noticed that things are changing, you aren’t
quite getting the same results anymore. We are indeed in a time of
great change and in order to ease our way through this change we must
adopt new ways of thinking and new attitudes.
The first thing I recommend is to stay open, listen to what others are saying, let yourself absorb it before your logic refutes it. You don’t have to adopt or believe everything you hear but be willing to take in what you hear and think about it, then decide whether you want to adopt it. There are many new ideas out there around how we can think and the choices we can make, again be willing to try some of them, you never know they might help you to move in a new direction.
The thing about change is that we have to try different things on in order to find new ways, if we continue to do things as we always have, we will continue to create the same.
I believe one of the most powerful statements at the moment is that we create our own reality.
I find this powerful, as it gives us the power to change, if someone else is creating our reality, then we have to wait for them to make changes. Not everyone I talk to likes this concept, as if you have things you don’t like happening in your life, then the logic asks why would I create something like that. We have to remember that we are very complex individuals and are only consciously aware of 3 % of our thoughts and as all of our thoughts are working to create our reality, we have another 97% that we are generally unaware of. We can gain awareness around what these unconscious thoughts are by looking at our results.
Rather than get caught up in why we have created something in our lives, I prefer to go straight to forgiveness. When I see something I have created I forgive myself for creating this which is causing me pain, and I say I intend to hurt myself, or intend to create pain, or whatever it is I see. I know that I have to admit to myself exactly where I am before I can move forward. Then I quickly move onto my conscious intention is to create happiness or joy or love, whatever it is I truly do want to create.
It is a very important step to admit to ourselves that we have created what we don’t like and it is a very powerful step in moving forward. Another example may be that I don’t have a great deal of money, so I would say I intend to have very little money. Now consciously that is not what I wish to intend but my results may show me that is what I have created, so I must admit it to myself. Then I can say my conscious intent is to experience financial abundance.
So pay attention to what is happening in your life, what has been your unconscious intent? Own it, let it go and get on with a new conscious intent.
Have an amazing summer as you practice creating your life as you want it! Love, light and laughter on your journey.
