Lower Lions Bay Water Main Replacement Update

Dear Residents,

Water main replacement work is complete. The roads where water main replacement work took place do need to be repaved but there will be no activity until the last week of May or early June, when paving is currently scheduled to take place.  The wet weather of previous weeks may push the paving schedule further back.  Additional paving work will include additional grading for drainage etc...  Paving is anticipated to take 1 week to complete.  This will be actual repaving of the roadway versus a ‘skim coat’ generally used strictly for aesthetics.

Please be assured that the restoration of roadside elements (i.e.; grass, gravel, flowers etc…) will also take place at that time.

Please be aware that there may be some dust associated with the paving and restoration work, and that all efforts will be made to mitigate any dust issues.

We would also ask residents in Lower Lions Bay to take the opportunity to flush their water line by running an outside line for about 15 minutes.
