Interests Charity A Gift Of Many Bags

DoggieBags

Each time I hike the Centennial Trail I am reminded what a fantastic contribution the trail is to our community. Rarely do I have a day where I am the only one on the trail. Every time I pass a lone hiker/a group/a family/or someone who just happens to come across the trail I tell myself how lucky we are to live in such a special place where we can strap on our boots and walk out our front door.

The Opening of the Centennial Trail in May seem a distant memory now.

After the dust settled and we started to sleep normal hours again, life returned to normal. Within days after the opening, I got a phone call from Kelly Taylor of Brunswick Beach. Kelly wanted to donate two doggie bag dispensers for the Centennial Trail.

After a few e-mails and phone calls, the wheels were set in motion. The North and South end of the trail are now equipped with the standard Lions Bay doggie bag dispensers.

A kind note to dog owners, please use them and keep our trails clean for All to enjoy.

Thanks to the Lions Bay Works Crew for the installations.

It is great knowing that there are doggie bags available while hiking through our beautiful forest with the magnificent views of Howe Sound. To Kelly Taylor and her family "Thank You" for making it happen. Kelly your style and contribution of time and money have always made me humble in believing in our human family. You are one unique individual who chooses to make a difference with your generous sharing and caring.
