Shifting Energies
I am sure most of you have heard of 2012 and the shifting energies as we approach this year, you likely also have some awareness of change in your life. No one is exempt from the changes that are happening. These changes may appear in your life as struggle, anxiety, illness, stress or a multitude of other symptoms.
You can alleviate many of these symptoms by meditating and centering your energy, taking time to be quiet and letting the energies move as they need to. I say it is much like a computer being upgraded, at this time you are being upgraded to a faster vibrational being. Negative energy, victim thinking and fear are on their way out.
We are learning that we are the creators of our lives by what we think and believe. The problem has been that most of us are fairly unconscious beings. They say we process something like 70,000 thoughts per day and are generally only aware of 3% of them. There is a lot of unconscious creating going on, then we want to blame someone or something else for the creations we donʼt like. The trick is to become more conscious of what our thoughts are. Take time each day to stop and be conscious in the moment, be aware of your surroundings, be in the moment! The more you can do this, the more you can take back control of what is happening in your life. Just choosing to believe that you are creating your world will begin to make changes for you.
As it is often difficult to know what is in our unconscious mind, you can get a pretty good idea by looking at what you have already created and then work backwards from there. If I have created very little money in my life, then working backwards, I would look for any thoughts and beliefs I have around not being worthy! They will be there somewhere. If you canʼt find them right away, put the information on your inner clipboard and just listen to yourself, eventually you will find the belief you are looking for and then you can use an affirmation or positive in the now statement affirming your worth. You do not actually even have to find the belief you can just jump to using the affirmation, as this will help bring the belief to the surface. In the instance I mention above you could use something like, I trust and believe in who I am. I know my true essence has great value in this world.
Some beliefs will shift easier than others, it depends on how deep the roots on any particular belief goes, as to how easy and quickly it will shift. As you work with the affirmation, it may seem to get worse before it gets better. That is because you are bringing the information to the conscious mind. I liken it to cleaning out a closet, once you pull all the stuff out, you have a bigger mess before you have it sorted and have put away what you want to keep. This process is much like that, you may decide to keep some of the beliefs you discover and others, you will throw away and create new ones.
Be gentle with yourself in this process! It is not always an easy process, as we discover parts of ourselves that we are not too excited about. Forgive yourself and move forward. We all have good and bad inside of us, although I do not like to use these words, because that is judgment and we are all wonderful people with light and darkness as part of ourselves.
