Green Waste Pickup

Dear Residents,

The Green Waste pick up has been delayed for reasons beyond our control. While we would have preferred this have been completed much earlier, we continue to work toward this goal.

As you are already aware, there have been water and infrastructure-related issues that have taken precedence. Added to this, the sheer volume of branches that have been placed along the road side is significantly greater than we have ever experienced before.

The size of many branches far exceeds the requested 4 foot length and this is presenting safety issues for the Public Works crew.  This is adding to the time that completion of this exercise is taking.

This is a busy time of year for Public Works and you can assist us by:-

-       not adding further to the outstanding piles

-       reducing the size of branches to the required 4 feet

-       ensuring that all green waste is organized tidily for our collection.
