What is a doula? Doula is a Greek word meaning “woman caregiver”. We are trained and experienced labor companions, “like a personal labor coach for parents”. Doula’s support a woman and her partner, giving emotional support and physical comfort and act as an advocate in obtaining information and assistance before, during, and just after childbirth.
