2012 Lions Bay Art And Garden Festival (All Day)
Lions Bay Arts Council is delighted to announce that we are planning our 2012 Lions Bay Art and Garden Festival to be held on Saturday, May 26th, 2012.
For those of you that enjoyed the 2010 Art and Garden Festival, you will remember that we had 12 beautiful gardens, each presenting a Lions Bay Artist’s work. In addition, we had a number of activities at the hall and a lively wine reception to cap off the day.
This year, the Art and Garden Festival will be held in late springtime, so rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias and many beautiful vines will be in full bloom. We are planning events for the hall which will include another public art project – remember the library wall mural at the Green Show last year – as well as other garden and green related displays and activities.
We are also expanding “the arts” presented in the gardens and are seeking visual and performing artists to participate – painters, sculptors, glass artists, musicians, singers, writers, poets, potters, quilters and any other interested artists, please get in touch at
